Chapter 5Polaris sat quietly in her room in the moon mansion. In here, nothing was fully real. The room was controlled by emotion and thoughts of the owner. Everything could change or appear anytime. Polaris was observing the Earth. She sat in front of a crystal mirror and watched Emma travel to meet her dad. Both girls were in trouble, but until Manny didn’t know about Emma being missing; they were safe. Polaris was worried about her best friend. Worried that her covering Emma might hurt the girl instead of help. She smiled at her friends image and sended her a positive thought. Emma smiled and looked out of the carriage, searching for the North Star. She took a deep breath and started to play with her bracelet. Polaris knew that Emma was scared and sended her as much encouragement as she could.
The mirror went blurry and Polaris got ready
Chapter 4Emma had only just begun to make her way down the dirt corridor when she dreaded continuing the journey. She’d walked the tunnel many times, delivering messages to Kaguya Hime, preparing for battle against the nightmares and other dark creatures trying to reinforce the “Nightmare King”, going on walks with Polaris, searching for items swept in after humans landed, and walks with Manny.Chapter 4 by ~Robienrose
Emma knew why she hesitated. It was fear. What if she never came back? How much had the Earth changed since Manny claimed her? Would she even find her father? And if she did, what would he be like? Would he be anything like Emma imagined? What if he changed? He may not be the same as when her mom described him to her. What if her father was everything she’d ever hope for? She opened the door just in time for a crying Emma to storm into her room.Chapter 3 by ~Robienrose

“You do not. You are upset with him, but you still love him.”
“Oh yeah, I totally love him after he denied me all rights to see my father.” Emma rolled her eyes.

Mark of Athena Chapter 9The dining pavilion was as crowded as a mall on a rainy day. There was something that made the air both peaceful and unsettling, which to Hazel was more than slightly ironic. She could only pin it on the scenery and the sense of impending doom that seemed to follow her and the rest of her new companions wherever they went.
She couldn't complain about the weather, she was sure of that; the clouds seemed to have gone on vacation, and not just in the camp. She could see clear blue skies for miles on end. The sun was still rising slightly, but it had cleared the horizon like a snowboarder on the half pipe. The air smelled like link sausages and scrambled eggs, though Hazel was sure she could also detect a hint of burning wood behind all that.
She glanced behind her, taking in the remains of the Argo II. Half the mast had utterly crumpled to the ground, while the starboard was still smouldering from yesterday's attack. Earlier this morning, she had been awoken by orders of heave-ho's
